Tuesday Challenge

Each Tuesday during Term 3, a group of students participate in a Tuesday Challenge. This is a hands on, practical activity that requires team work and problem solving skills. This term, we have completed 'Spaghetti Marshmallow' towers, an 'egg drop' and also made popsicle stick bridges. There are still more challenges to come!

A Long Walk to Water

This term, we are reading the novel 'A Long Walk to Water' by Linda Sue Park. To introduce us to the text, we worked our way through a Multimodal Text Set, and then recorded our thoughts on a 3-2-1 Bridge. Narrative Animations

This term we have had a focus on narrative writing. Students have been planning and then writing narratives. Their final task was to animate their narrative using google slides and use screencastify to record their animation with voiceover of their narrative. Not everyone has finished yet, but here are some of the completed ones. Students have also learnt the importance of time management in order to meet deadlines!
